For instance, the parents of deceased victim Scott Hazelcorn honor their son through the Scott Hazelcorn Children’s Foundation. Remembering that Scott loved children and intended to become a teacher, his parents have made it their mission to provide aid to children in need who lost a loved one on 9/11. Camp Haze is one of the charity’s biggest events, and it is a one week all expense paid camping trip specifically designed for kids who have lost a parent to illness or tragedy. Through foundations like this one, legacies of victims can still live on to produce inspiring outcomes in other lives.
